Applications for Ticket booking agents are invited

Applications are invited by southern railway, Palakkad for railway ticket booking agents (S.T.B.A). Vacancies are available in 16 stations. Those who are willing should be submitted in the prescribed Tender form. For more details , please refer the below paragraphs.

Eligibility criteria :

• The applicant should be a resident of the Local District in which the station is located.
• The applicant should not be under 18 years of age
• should be at least Class X passed
• The selected applicant will have to produce original certificate from Police station  that he/she has no criminal record or criminal case is pending against him/her.
• Should not be ex-Railway staff who has been removed or dismissed from service on the grounds of doubtful integrity.

How To Apply : Applications should be submitted in the prescribed Tender form. Applicant has to enclose a Demand draft for Rs. 1120/- in favour of Senior
Divisional Finance Manager, Palghat Division, Southern Railway, Palakkad – 2 towards cost of tender form. Cost of tender form can also be paid through
cash to Senior Divisional Cashier (Pay), Divisional Cash Office, Southern Railway, Palakkad. The Cash receipt / DD in original should be enclosed with
the application. A recent passport size color photo should be pasted on the application. Applications received without the photo are liable to be rejected.
