by Project K- FON is the beginning of a new change in the kerala state, provide internet service to the people at a cheaper rate . The project was launched on June 5,2023 by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. KFON will be able to provide Internet services to all 75 lakh families in Kerala. Of these, about 20 lakh economically weaker families will receive as free of cost. People belonging to all categories can apply for the K- FON connection.
In the first phase, they decided to provide this service for 14,000 economically weaker sections of the society and more than 30,000 government institutions for free. Customers can use internet services with speeds starting from 20 Mbps. They can also increase the speed as per their requirement. KFON has already established sufficient infrastructure ( IT ) to provide around 40 lakh internet connections across Kerala.
How to apply offline for a connection?
K-FON will deliver the connections directly and through various service providers like Kerala Vision. So you can take connection through through cable TV operators near you.
