Chennai Customs Recruitment 2023 – Application form

Office Of The Principal Commissioner Of Customs, Chennai (General) has been released an official notification regarding the recruitment on their website. They intend to fill up 17 Vacancies of Halwai-cum-Cook, Clerk, Canteen Attendant and Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade). Those candidates who are willing to apply are required to submit offline application  on or before 30th June 2023. Post wise number of vacancy details :

1. Halwai-cum-Cook- 1
2. Clerk- 1
3. Canteen Attendant – 8
4. Staff Car Driver  -7

Post wise age limit:

1. Halwai-cum-Cook – Between 18-25 years
2. Clerk – Between 18-25 years
3. Canteen Attendant – Between 18-25 years
4. Staff Car Driver – 18 -27 years.

Post wise educational qualification:

1. Halwai-cum-Cook – 10th class pass, Two years experience,
2. Clerk-  12th Class pass or equivalent with Commerce, a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
3. Canteen Attendant- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board
4. Staff Car Driver- valid Driving License, Knowledge of Motor Mechanism ,minimum 3 years experience and 10th class pass.

Post wise salary details:

1. Halwai-cum-Cook – Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- in 6 th CPC / Pay Level 3 in Pay Matrix (Rs.21700- 69100)
2. Clerk – Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/- of 6 th CPC / Pay Level 2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19900- 63200) of 7 th CPC
3. Canteen Attendant – Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800/- of 6 th CPC / Pay Level 1 in Pay Matrix (Rs.18000- 56900)
4. Staff Car Driver-  Rs 19,900- 63200/-
