Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has been released an official notification regarding the recruitment on their website. They intend to fill up 18 Vacancies of General Worker (Canteen) on contract basis. Age limit : 30 years, The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualification : Pass in VII Std. Desirable: One year Certificate Course in Food Production/ Food and Beverages Service from a Government Food Craft Institute/ Two year Vocational Certificate in Catering and Restaurant Management from an institution recognized by Central/State Government. Knowledge of Malayalam.

Experience required : Minimum of three years’ experience in preparation or serving of meals in a Factory Canteen that caters to a minimum of 250 workers OR3 Star Hotel OR Licensed Food Catering Service Agency.

Salary : Consolidated Pay (per month)
First year – Rs.17,300/ –
Second year – Rs.17,900/-
Third year – Rs.18,400/-
Compensation for Extra Hours of Work (per month)
First year – Rs.3,600/-
Second year – Rs.3,700/-
Third year – Rs.3,800/-
