by Pravasi ID card is a document for an NRI Keralite to contact the Government of Kerala and prove that they are expatriates. Those with norka’s nri ID card will get benefits such as insurance coverage, various types of assistance and all services and facilities offered by NORKA Roots, now and in future. You can apply for the card through norka roots’ office and online. Personal Accident Insurance coverage of upto a maximum of Rs. 4 Lakhs and up to a maximum of Rs. 2 Lakhs for permanent/partial disability is available with this. The validity of this card is 3 years.
The age of the applicant should exist between 18 to 70 years. Also applicant should be a Pravasi residing or working abroad with a valid passport and visa for at least 6 months. 3 months before the date of expiry of ID card, you can apply for renewal.
Documents required: (scanned all the required documents before applying and keep it ready in JPEG formats.)
- Copies of the front page and back page of the passport.
- Copy of visa page/iqama/work permit/residence permit.
- photo and signature of the applicant.
- Registration fee is Rs 315 (per card).
Follow the below steps to apply for PRAVASI ID
- Click the Apply Now option along the” PRAVASI ID / PRAVASI RAKSHA INSURANCE POLICY / STUDENT ID “.
- Create the account by entering details like your name and mobile number on the page you get.
- Now log in and click along ” pravasi ID card/ Pravasi raksha” option.
- Scroll down and select “Pravasi ID / PRIP” option.
- Now enter the personal details , then click “save and next “.
- Now enter address details in newly opened page and go to next page.
- After entering all the required details and upload the scanned copy of required document, then complete the payment process.
- This card can be purchased for Rs 315 and can be used for up to 3 years.
