Commissionerate of Central Excise and Customs, Pune has released an official notification  through the official website (https://www.punecustoms.nic.in/) regarding the recruitment for fill up 13 vacancies for the posts of Group C. Engineer Mate
Number of vacancies : 01
Scale of pay : Rs.29200-92300.
Age limit : 18 to 30 Years.
Educational Qualification : Must be a Holder of Engine driver of Fishing Vessel Certificate issued by MMD. Must pass X Class or equivalent an have minimum 5 years sea experience.
Desirable : i) I.T.I. Diesel Mechanic certificate. ii) Certificate of safety and survival at sea/tire fighting/first aid.

Artisan
Number of vacancies :01
Scale of pay : Rs.29200-92300)
Age limit : 18 to 30 Years
Educational Qualification :The applicant must completed Diploma in Mech./Electrical Engg. / National Certificate of vocational training / Apprenticeship in reputed craft building yard in hull construction in Fiber Class Re-inforce Plastic with minimum 4 years experience and 02 years practical experience on Diesel Engine repair / Electrical and Electronic equipment repairs / Fiber Class Re-inforce Plastic and wooden craft repairs.
Desirable: Sea experience and Experience of repairs on small craft.

Tradesman

Age limit : 18 to 28 Years
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have T.I. Certificate in Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Turtier/Welder/Electrician/ Instrumental/Carpentry ii) 10th Class or equivalent, 2 years experience in Engineering /Automobile/Ship Repair organisation.
Desirable : Experience in Fibre Reinforce Plastic lamination and repair work and First aid/fire fighting/Industrial safety course.

Seman

Age limit : 18 to 28 Years
Educational Qualification : The applicant must have completed 10th class pass or equivalentand have minimum 03 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Desirable : Certificate of competency as “Mate of fishing vessel” issued by Marine Mercantile Department.

Greaser

Age limit : 18 to 28 Years
Educational Qualification : The applicant must have completed 10th class pass or equivalent, have Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
Desirable : Certificate of competency as “Engine Driver of fishing vessel” issued by Marine Mercantile Department.

Unskilled Industrial Worker

Scale of pay : Rs.18000-56900.
Age limit : 18 to 28 Years
Educational Qualification : 10th Class pass or equivalent, Should be fit for strenuous physical labour are essential qualifications
Desirable : ITI Certificate in Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic / Fitter /Turner /Welder / Electrician /Instrumental/ Carpentry trade. Experience as mate or assistant or helper in Automobile/Industrial Workshop.

Selection procedure: The applied candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Exam and Physical Endurance Test (PET) (Swimming) and Medical Exam.
