Documents Required for the registration are given below:
- Attested copy of certificate to prove age for both.
- Copy of the certificate from the marriage auditorium or a declaration in Form II obtained from a MP or MLA or Gazetted office.
- Marriage invitation letter (optional)
- For age proof documents, you can submit SSLC book, driving license, passport, school admission register or other records that are issued by Government
- Identify proof and address proof of bride and groom
- Memorandum signed by both bride and groom for marriage accompanied by two persons who are witnesses.
- Application form along with copy of the certificate to prove age, marriage solemnization and so on.
Follow the given below steps to Register Online
Step 1: Go to the official website (https://citizen.lsgkerala.gov.in/ )
Step 2 : Register and log in to the website.
Step3 : Select the option Common marriage – New registration.
Step4 : Now fill the online application form including the details such as District, Office type (panchayath/municipality/corporation)& Name ,application type (Individual) , category and then “save”.
Step 5 : Go to next page, select ID type.
Step 6 : Enter ID proof number, Name on ID card, mobile number, email id, Permeant address. Save and go to next page.
Step 7 : Now select district, local body type, local body name and date of marriage.
Step 8 : Go to next page. Upload photos of both husband & wife, select your category, place of marriage, Taluk, Village, ward.
Step 8 : Fill Husband details, wife details, and details of witness and Submit.
Step 9 : Now download the application form and upload the signed copy.
